• Rania Uldsted is a scholar with vast knowledge in the field of Thaumaturgic Engineering, responsible for several published papers on the use of mana to fuel mechanical devices, including an interesting though controversial proposition for an internal combustion engine fueled by mana.
  
  Rania is intelligent, perceptive and knowledgeable. One would say she will one day hold the Thaumaturgical Engineering chair in the Aylmar Reborn administration. The only problem is that Rania is an idealist who believes science must be controlled to be used properly, especially to prevent misuse by militarist nations such as Virtanen, Hanse and Three Towers. Rania is a pacifist who paradoxically becomes very combative when arguing against the use of violence to deal with any problems (especially if she considers science is somehow been misused).
