• Stepping in front of the holo-pod, Jermis felt as if he had discovered something importing. It flickered to life, triggering a flutter in his own juicy internal organs. His tentacle suction cup things aimed themselves longingly at the hologram, and Jermis hoped that perhaps he was evolved enough to absorb the light that it emitted in a way that allowed him to receive the communicated message. He was not evolved that much, however. He also lacked ears, so the spoken message was also completely irrelevant to his life.
