I find myself stuck between two worlds, the event horizon, where light and shadow collide. Here at the event horizon I feel the constant pull of darkness dragging me down, only keeping myself in orbit of the dark unknown by projecting my will onto the universe propelling myself forward. The light that I sail on, here at the event horizon is not my own, the collective knowledge from ancient times is collected here. The ancients wisdom gathers together shining forth, contrasted by darkness below. I stand on the backs of giants, following in their wake. I feel the ebb and flow the universe, a constant reminder of existence, I feel the wills of those around me, and mine onto theirs, lives shared, lives lost, the collective weigh of existent versus the gravity of the universe. Here at the event horizon, crushing despair below, constant pains of reality, we either see ourselves sink into the void of the unknown or strive to maintain orbit around the darkness. It is only here at the event horizon do we find our true selves and see what we are made of.
