FAQ Below

How deaf are you?
I am 95% deaf meaning I can only hear insanely loud noises (pretty much ones where you'd feel it just by vibration alone) I cannot distinguish any sound in particular whatsoever.

Why are you deaf?
I was born with a deformity in my ear canal and when doctors tried to save my hearing they basically couldn't and now I'm Deaf.

Why don't you speak?
I am 20 years old and I have lived in a deaf/hoh community for all of my life I have almost no reason to seek taking language classes other than for playing cs and unless I get signed for a team, or a deaf esl team where some players are hearing than I have no need. I understand "A" and "B" are easy call outs but seriously. It's embarrasing I wont even be able to tell if anyone's making fun of me or not

Somtimes I get comments about how "oh it would suck to be deaf"
this is simply not how I view my disability. My disability is my lived experience its not some trauma porn or poor me it's just how I live and always have lived. I'm deaf so I don't really know if I'm missing out or not.

Can't you get an implant done to give you hearing?
No. I cant.

While it impacts how I play FPS it doesn't negate my experience entirely. Most of my skill is based off of years of game sense and understanding how to play on an already uneven playing ground. I STARE at my map 99% of calls you'd give me by comms ive seen on the map already. BUT calls with only sounds, that's all your decision to call for me or not :)

Overall I hope my experience with people online is primarily positive and I apologize if my disability ruined your experience on csgo or any other hearing based/assisted game. If you have ANY PROBLEMS WITH ME please send a comment or message me how I could work on it!
